Battle Creek CPL Renewal Class
This is our renewal class for people who already hold a Michigan CPL. We go through what has changed in the law, review reasonable use of force and Michigan concealed carry rules, then cover defensive shooting fundamentals and finish with practical shooting at our range. It runs about 4 hours.

What is included
- All classroom materials
- The range fee for your live fire session
- Your renewal certificate, issued the same day
What costs extra
- A rental pistol and ammunition if you need them, starting at $30 on class day
- Targets at $1 each
- State CPL renewal fee, paid to your county clerk when you apply
What to bring
- A valid state ID and your current CPL
- Your pistol and ammunition if you have them
- Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes
- Eye and ear protection provided if you do not have your own

Balance of $55 due on the day of class, cash or credit. Your deposit reserves your seat.
Common questions
Who is this class for?
People who already hold a Michigan CPL and need training to renew it. If this is your first CPL, book the 8 hour CPL class instead.
Do I need my own gun?
Bring your pistol and ammunition if you have them. If you do not, a rental pistol and ammunition are available at the range starting at $30.
When do I get my certificate?
The same day, at the end of class. Take it to the Calhoun County Clerk with your renewal application.
What if I cannot make it?
Call us at (248) 662-5744 and we will move you to another date.
